Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Read and write in English for production paperwork and data entry.
• One year of experience in the food industry, manufacturing setting.
• Preferred: 1–2 years with industrial size mixers and equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic across units of measure.
• Ability to use a computer for file search and data entry.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial size mixer and combine ingredients to make dough.
• Follow GMP rules and SOPs and fill out mix sheets.
• Identify ingredients and lot numbers and check for foreign materials.
• Clean mixers and utensils; prevent cross-contamination and manage allergens.
• Maintain documentation and report quality issues to supervisor.
• Communicate with coworkers and management effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
