Smithfield Foods is hiring at the Bakery Meal Plant for a Material Handler to operate powered industrial vehicles and support loading, unloading, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced bakery meal production environment.

You will follow standard procedures, manage materials, and assist with blending to ensure product consistency and moisture targets, while maintaining safety and environmental compliance. Entry to mid-level experience preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and procedures in English.
• Ability to work ~50 hours/week, including nights, holidays, and weekends when required.

Responsabilités

• Operate powered industrial vehicles and equipment.
• Unload bulk and palletized trailers.
• Assist with inventory and material blending to meet product specs.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and follow EMS policies.
• Observe safety rules and report environmental issues as required.
