Dierbergs Markets, Inc. is seeking a dessert-focused leader to uphold Bakery standards, mentor associates, and ensure flawless execution of department duties.

Working with the Bakery Manager, you will help create an exceptional customer experience and strengthen the sustainability of our bakery team. You will manage inventory, train staff, maintain cleanliness and food safety, and provide friendly service to customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience in a managerial role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong business acumen and time management skills.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of and commitment to food safety practices.
• Ability to work in varied temperature-controlled environments, including refrigerators and freezers.
• Strong attention to detail, business acumen, self-motivation, and the capability to work independently.
• Flexibility to accommodate a varied schedule, including nights and weekends, to support operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the Bakery Manager to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
• Managing inventory by ordering, displaying, and maintaining bakery items.
• Assisting in training, developing, and motivating Associates to foster a cohesive and high-performing team.
• Upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards, adhering to proper food-handling protocols.
• Providing friendly and exceptional service to all customers.
