Job summary

UNFI's Cub White Bear Lake South is seeking a Full Time Bakery Manager to lead the bakery department, promote sales, and achieve profit and labor goals while ensuring a safe, positive environment for customers and associates.

You will train staff, plan cases, manage daily operations, and coordinate with store teams to deliver quality bakery products. Open availability and ability to work evenings/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate bakery equipment and assist with product preparation.
• Able to stand long periods and walk distances during shifts.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and wet surfaces.
• Strong customer service orientation with minimal supervision.
• Follow verbal or written instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate bakery department personnel.
• Plan, set, and maintain bakery cases.
• Direct and organize daily department functions.
• Perform baking and product preparation.
• Monitor sanitation and workplace safety in the bakery.
• Order and receive bakery shipments accurately.
• Assist customers with questions or requests.
