Job summary

Homeland is seeking an Experienced Bakery Department Manager for Homeland Store 151 in Oklahoma City, OK. This part-time role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and leadership in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will greet customers, supervise bakery staff, manage the weekly labor schedule, and ensure safety and quality across all bakery operations, including cake orders and daily production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Prior supervisory experience in a retail/bakery setting preferred.
• Experience with bakery equipment (oven, mixer, bread slicer) is beneficial.
• Ability to follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Strong math and cash handling skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and ring up customers politely.
• Supervise bakery staff and train new employees.
• Develop weekly labor schedules for the Bakery Department.
• Order bakery products and supplies from vendors.
• Bake and supervise production of bread, pastries, and cakes.
• Maintain safety, pricing, and expiration records.
• Record cake orders and ensure accurate custom requests.
• Monitor cooler/freezer temps and maintain department cleanliness.
