Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Bakery Department Manager to lead daily operations, uphold quality and customer service, and drive sales in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage a team, plan production based on trends, execute merchandising plans, ensure compliance with safety standards, and champion a welcoming, efficient bakery department.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Bakery Department operations, ensuring high standards for quality, freshness, presentation, and customer service
• Foster a welcoming, customer‑focused environment and resolve customer concerns and special orders
• Plan and execute daily bakery production based on sales trends and seasonal demand
• Execute merchandising plans, promotions, planograms, and seasonal programs
• Manage department sales, labor, scheduling, ordering, inventory, and shrink
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
• Hire, train, coach, and develop bakery associates while promoting teamwork and accountability
