Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Entry-level Shift Leader to set the tone for each shift. You will lead the storefront and kitchen teams, deliver outstanding guest experiences, and guide associates to meet 85°C's standards for quality and hospitality.

You'll be on the floor, coach and train staff, ensure safety and cleanliness, handle opening or closing duties, and maintain on-time, on-standard operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of restaurant, food service, or retail experience.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable leading on the floor.
• Availability of ~30+ hours per week, including holidays and weekends.

The Role

As a Shift Leader, you set the tone for every shift you run. You'll lead the team across the storefront and kitchen, deliver an outstanding guest experience, and help associates do their best work. It's a hands-on leadership role and the first step on our management path.

Compensation

• Base Pay: $17.25 – $18.25 per hour, based on experience
• Performance Bonus: Eligible for our team performance bonus, paid monthly
• Earned On: Store sales, profitability, labor management, food-safety audits, and customer satisfaction
• Total Target Comp: $[__] – $[__] per year, including bonus potential

The performance bonus is offered as potential or target earnings, not guaranteed pay. It is performance-based and varies by store results, team size, and eligibility. Benefits vary by role, scheduled hours, and location; HR will confirm specific eligibility.

This position requires moderate physical activity.
