Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Maintenance Apprentice in Rockwall, TX to learn and perform safe, preventive maintenance on bakery equipment under the guidance of qualified mechanics.

You will complete coursework online, gain hands-on experience with motors, pumps, conveyors, ovens and more, and work toward higher levels in the maintenance progression. English fluency, safety training, and a willingness to work varied shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Pass required exam/test for acceptance into Apprenticeship program.
• Flexibility to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Learn safety requirements and basic maintenance skills.
• Perform preventive maintenance on bakery equipment.
• Assist in inspection and upkeep of machinery and equipment.
• Learn to repair/replace components on motors, pumps, conveyors, ovens, etc.
• Document work orders and maintain equipment records.
• Contribute to safety and efficiency improvements.
