Festival Foods in Mauston, WI is seeking a Bakery Lead Cake Decorator who will guide the Cake Decorators, train new talent, and lead daily bakery operations. You will support the Bakery Manager in achieving department goals and ensure a memorable guest experience.

The role requires strong decoration artistry, excellent guest service, and the ability to manage weekly schedules and performance reviews. The schedule is full-time with mornings, afternoons, and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Teach, guide and support Cake Decorators to uphold Festival culture and performance expectations.
• Train new Cake Decorators and provide ongoing guidance.
• Prepare weekly work schedules and conduct performance reviews.
• Address policy violations with corrective actions and documentation.
• Provide excellent guest service by assisting with items, special orders, and pricing.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the department and manage supplies.
• Decorate bakery products and assist with topping, finishing and inventory.
• Communicate with the Bakery Manager and team to meet department goals.
• Ensure timely attendance and coverage for shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
