Festival Foods in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Bakery Assistant Manager to support the Bakery Department Manager and lead a team of bakers. You will help set direction, train staff, and oversee daily operations in a high-volume bakery.

The role requires a High School diploma, strong leadership and guest-service skills, and a WI Certified Food Manager license (or willingness to obtain). It is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to grow within the department.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Leadership skills to motivate and lead bakers and pastry specialists.
• Technical proficiency with tech used in food service environments.
• Customer-focused and able to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• WI Certified Food Manager license required or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Department Manager in overseeing bakery operations and leading the team of bakers.
• Train new bakery associates on pastry offerings and service standards; conduct performance reviews.
• Manage inventory, pricing, cleanliness, quality, safety and day-to-day bakery operations.
• Deliver outstanding guest service by helping guests find products, taking special orders, and addressing concerns.
• Support team by assisting with daily tasks and maintaining a positive work environment.
• Maintain records of food safety and adhere to company policies.
