Job summary

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Second language skills (speaking, reading and/or writing) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and suggest items to customers.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Practice safe food handling procedures.
• Stock and maintain stock conditions throughout the department.
• Finish products with icing, glaze, or toppings as required.
• Package and price products; rotate stock and monitor code dates.
• Maintain sanitation to company standards and health regulations.
• Receive loads and transport to proper locations.
• Assist with inventory and order placement as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and report risks.
