• Ability to assist customers with orders and engage in suggestive selling.

Responsibilities

• Know bakery products, prices, recipes, and uses.
• Assist customers with orders and suggestive selling.
• Weigh, wrap, and process customer orders.
• Answer the telephone and take orders when necessary.
• Set up advertising displays to promote sales.
• Package, stock, display, and merchandize bakery goods per standards.
• Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, counters, display cases, and floors.
• Follow FIFO rotation; label and date leftovers; use leftovers before opening new product.
