The Gluten Free Baking Company is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Tualatin, OR. This full-time role oversees the maintenance team, coordinates scheduling, and ensures safe operation of ovens and production equipment in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years as a maintenance technician, with supervisory experience preferred. On-site work with safety-focused culture and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance team, including scheduling, assigning work, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Maintain, service, and repair ovens, conveyors, and other bakery equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies including LOTO and OSHA standards.
• Maintain maintenance and compliance records.
• Assist production teams on the floor to minimize downtime.
• Communicate effectively with management and coworkers.
• Work safely around equipment emitting heat and in environments with moving machinery, chemicals, and dust.
• Available for on-call duties.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Tualatin, OR
Employment Type: Full-Time | Salary

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise the maintenance team, including scheduling, assigning work, training, coaching, and performance management.

Maintain, service, and repair specialized ovens, mixing machinery, conveyors, product handling systems, and other equipment used in baked goods production.

Ensure compliance with all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, OSHA standards, and company guidelines.

Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records.

Assist production teams on the floor to minimize downtime or provide coaching/training when needed.

Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, and team members.

Work safely around equipment and products emitting heat (approximately 400°F) and in environments with moving machinery, chemicals, dust, noise, humidity, and outdoor conditions.

• Available for "on-call" duties

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician; supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge of manufacturing plant equipment.

Competent welding skills and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.

Proficiency with basic office computer software (Word, Excel, email).

Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work at heights up to 50 feet.

Available to work all shifts and weekends.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
