You will oversee interviews, performance reviews, scheduling, and staff development while ensuring safety, sanitation, and optimal product presentation across the department.

You will manage inventory, vendor relationships, and budget adherence, while driving sales through promotions and effective merchandising.

Qualifications

• Scratch production experience preferred.
• Proven bakery operations management experience.
• Experience leading and training bakers to proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bakery department direction, coordination and evaluation.
• Conduct interviews, performance reviews and training for Partners.
• Deliver superior customer service and lead a team to high service levels.
• Manage product assortment, inventory, and promotions to maximize sales.
• Ensure product freshness, safety, refrigeration and sanitation in compliance with standards.
• Monitor budget, labor, and wrap expenses to meet department goals.
• Forecast production and plan inventory and ordering accordingly.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal teams.
