Job summary

Hy-Vee Savage bakery is seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant Department Manager to help lead daily operations. You will work with the Bakery Manager to ensure fresh, high-quality products and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise bakers, cake designers, and clerks, coordinate production and scheduling, and help train new staff while maintaining sanitation and safety standards. This is a full-time on-site role in Savage, MN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years in a related role.
• Strong arithmetic and math skills.
• Ability to guide and supervise bakery staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers.
• Assist in production scheduling and daily tasks.
• Train and supervise bakery staff.
