Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates while communicating department goals and standards.
• Collaborate with associates to achieve bakery goals and store objectives.
• Set department performance goals and empower staff to meet targets.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume during hours of operation.
• Train and coach associates, participate in performance appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of bakery products and upsell to customers.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests with proper equipment and portion control.
• Support department budgeting and control expenses as needed.
• Coordinate with store management to implement a department business plan.
