Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery/deli items per customer orders using proper equipment.
• Offer samples to help customers discover items.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials and promotions.
• Provide fresh products and accurate portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend items to meet customer needs and preferences.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods following temperature logs and recipes.
• Measure and mix ingredients with various utensils and equipment.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Check product quality, review sell-by dates, take action as needed.
• Maintain correct temperatures in cases and coolers with logs.
• Support and assist customers through direct engagement with a welcoming attitude.
