Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) to support customer service objectives in a fast-paced store environment. You will prepare bakery items per customer requests, promote samples, and help customers find what they need while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include maintaining proper temperatures, using bakery equipment, labeling and stocking items, and assisting with inventory and store promotions.

• Ability to obtain a current food handler permit after employment.

Responsabilités

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) prepares items per customer requests using bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover items or products they inquire about.
• Inform customers of bakery or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products ordered and portion sizes.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, mix ingredients with various utensils and equipment.
• Adequately prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
