Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments. You will help customers, share product knowledge, and ensure attractive, well-stocked displays.

Ideal candidates bring a friendly, can-do attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to learn store technology. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required. Physical tasks may be required.

• Previous retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required.
• A friendly, customer-first mindset and strong listening skills.
• Comfort learning and using job-specific technology.

Responsabilités

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
