Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver excellent customer service in our Fresh departments. You’ll help customers, share product knowledge, and keep displays fresh and organized in a fast-paced store environment.

You’ll build connections with customers and teammates, learn store technology, and follow safety and quality procedures across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
