Responsibilities

• Prepare items per customer requests using bakery/deli equipment
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about
• Inform customers of bakery or deli specials
• Provide customers with fresh products in correct portions and monitor shrink
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions
• Measure, mix ingredients with kitchen utensils and equipment
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates
