Essential Job Functions:

1. Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
3. Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
4. Provide customers with fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrinkage.
5. Recommend bakery or deli items to customers.
6. Use bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
7. Follow food safety and temperature logs, and prepare foods accordingly.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
10. Check product quality and freshness, review "sell by" dates.
11. Properly use kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, fryers, etc.
12. Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
13. Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
14. Maintain knowledge of store layout and product locations.
15. Stay current with ads, promotions, and product knowledge.
16. Monitor inventory and stocking conditions.
17. Ensure proper storage temperatures and maintain logs.
18. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
19. Adhere to all food safety regulations and safety procedures.
20. Report unsafe conditions or accidents.
21. Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
22. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
23. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
24. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
25. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
26. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range: $19.25 - $25.35 per hour
