Key Responsibilities:
- Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
- Inform customers about bakery and deli specials.
- Provide fresh products as ordered, ensuring correct portions to prevent shrink.
- Recommend bakery or deli items to meet customer needs.
- Operate bakery equipment per company guidelines.
- Prepare foods following food safety and temperature protocols.
- Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
- Package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise.
- Check product quality, review expiration dates, and take appropriate actions.
- Use kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Stock and inventory department merchandise accurately.
- Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
- Understand store layout to assist customers efficiently.
- Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions.
- Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries.
- Monitor inventory levels and conditions.
- Maintain proper refrigeration temperatures and logs.
- Foster trust and respect among team members.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions or accidents to management.
