1. Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples and inform customers of specials.
3. Provide customers with ordered products, ensuring correct portions.
4. Recommend products to customers based on their needs.
5. Use bakery equipment properly, including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens.
6. Follow food safety and temperature log protocols.
7. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
8. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
9. Check product quality, review sell-by dates, and take appropriate actions.
10. Maintain store layout knowledge and respond to customer inquiries.
11. Stay updated on promotions and product knowledge.
12. Monitor inventory and stock conditions, reporting discrepancies.
13. Ensure proper temperature maintenance in cases and coolers.
14. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
15. Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
16. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
17. Report customer or employee accidents.
18. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
19. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
20. Follow directions and seek assistance as needed.
21. Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults through interactions.
22. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
