Bakery/Deli Clerk (Finance)

• Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples to customers.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend items to customers.
• Use bakery equipment following company guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to recipes and food safety standards.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients.
• Package, label, and inventory ingredients.
• Check product quality and review 'sell by' dates.
• Properly use kitchen equipment such as refrigerators, slicers, ovens.
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
• Know store layout and assist customers in locating products.

• Maintain inventory and temperature logs.
