Responsibilities

1. Prepare bakery and deli items according to customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
3. Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
4. Provide customers with fresh products in the correct portion size to prevent shrink.
5. Recommend bakery or deli items to customers.
6. Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to company guidelines.
7. Prepare foods following food safety and temperature logs.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients using appropriate utensils and equipment.
9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
10. Check product quality and review "sell by" dates.
11. Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, keeping logs.
12. Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
13. Manage inventory and stock levels, noting discrepancies.
14. Assist customers with product location and questions.
15. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
16. Follow all food safety and safety regulations.
17. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and handle conflicts professionally.
18. Support diverse customer needs and provide excellent service.
19. Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
