1. Prepare bakery or deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to customers to promote new items.
3. Inform customers about bakery and deli specials.
4. Provide customers with fresh, correctly portioned products to minimize shrinkage.
5. Recommend products to meet customer needs.
6. Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
7. Follow food safety and temperature logs during food preparation.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
10. Ensure product quality and freshness, reviewing 'sell by' dates.
11. Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
12. Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
13. Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
14. Understand store layout to assist customers efficiently.
15. Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions.
16. Maintain product knowledge to assist and advise customers.
17. Monitor inventory levels and conditions.
18. Maintain proper storage temperatures and logs.
19. Foster trust and respect among team members.
20. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
