1. Prepare bakery and deli items according to customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
3. Inform customers about bakery and deli specials.
4. Provide customers with ordered products, ensuring correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
5. Recommend products to meet customer needs.
6. Use bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
7. Follow food safety procedures, including temperature logs and cooking instructions.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients per recipes.
9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
10. Check product quality, review expiration dates, and take necessary actions.
11. Maintain equipment and report any issues.
12. Stock and label merchandise properly.
13. Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
14. Understand store layout and assist customers in locating products.
15. Stay updated on promotions and product knowledge.
16. Monitor inventory levels and conditions.
17. Ensure proper storage temperatures and maintain logs.
