Responsibilities

1. Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
3. Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
4. Provide fresh products in correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
5. Recommend bakery or deli items to customers.
6. Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines.
7. Prepare foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients according to recipes using appropriate utensils and equipment.
9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise.
10. Check product quality, review 'sell by' dates, and take appropriate action.
11. Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and keep logs.
12. Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met, including food safety regulations.
13. Report discrepancies, unsafe conditions, and accidents to management.
14. Manage inventory and stock levels, and locate products for customers.
15. Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions and product knowledge.
16. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and handle conflicts professionally.
17. Support diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
18. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
