Bakery/Deli Clerk (Finance)

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products that meet their orders and portion size expectations to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend bakery or deli items to customers to ensure they find what they want and need.
• Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to company guidelines.
• Follow food safety regulations, maintain temperature logs, and ensure proper storage and inventory of ingredients.
• Maintain knowledge of products and store layout to answer customer questions and make suggestions.
• Adhere to safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Assist in managing inventory, stock, and product labeling.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, handle conflicts professionally, and act with integrity.
• Support diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Salary Range: $22.25 - $25.80 per hour
