Job summary

Walmart’s Sam's Club bakery is seeking a Cake Decorator in Hattiesburg, MS to deliver member service and maintain quality in bakery items. You will work with associates to educate, decorate using bags and nozzles, and ensure food safety standards are followed while managing inventory.

You’ll be part of a team focused on accuracy, waste reduction, and helping members with purchasing decisions, aligning with store goals and seasonal events.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Complete all required trainings and assessments if selected.

Responsibilities

• Be a Cake Decorator focusing on quality and date control in bakery items.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate other associates on tools and resources.
• Plan bakery production and use decorating bags and tips to create flowers and lettering.
• Maintain food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain, and inventory management.
• Drive sales and assist members, addressing questions and helping with purchasing decisions.
