Moio's Italian Pastry Shop is seeking a friendly Bakery Counter Associate to join our team. This part-time, customer-facing role emphasizes excellent service, accurate order handling, and keeping the counter clean and organized in a busy bakery environment.

Starting pay is $12.00/hour during training, increasing to $15.00/hour after training. Weekend availability is required, and candidates should be reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable handling money at the register.

Qualifications

• Previous bakery, retail, restaurant, or customer-service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong people skills.
• Reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Take orders in person and over the phone.
• Package bakery products neatly and accurately.
• Operate the cash register and handle customer payments.
• Answer questions about cakes, pastries, cookies, pies, and other products.
• Assist with special orders and communicate needs to bakery staff.
• Keep counter, display cases, and customer areas clean and organized.
• Restock products and maintain attractive displays.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and teamwork.

Position Details

• Part-time: 25–35 hours per week
• Starting pay: $12.00/hour during training
• Pay after training: $15.00/hour
• Must be available to work during the bakery's regular business hours
• Weekend availability is required

What You'll Do
