Job description

As a Bakery department coordinator, you’ll work with a team across all areas of the bakery to deliver excellent service and prepare fresh, great-tasting bakery items for our customers. If you have a passion for food, serving customers, and working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the position for you!

What will I do?

1. Understand the products offered in the department.
2. Maintain the overall appearance of the department, ensure fresh products, well-merchandised displays, proper stock levels, and recognize seasonal and weather effects on sales.
3. Proactively assist customers in locating products, suggest meal solutions, and answer product questions.
4. Ensure products look and smell at their peak, using production guides, recipes, and techniques to maintain quality.
5. Assist in ordering and inventory management, utilizing order guides to control inventory and reduce shrinkage.

Required Qualifications

• Customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ordering products and inventory control.
• Experience working in a bakery.
