Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a capable Retail Team Member to replenish bakery, coffee, and juice sections and merchandise promotional displays. You will monitor inventory, assist with signage, and help maintain healthful standards while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers and fellow Team Members.

Responsibilities include ordering, inventory control, pricing accuracy, and supporting leadership in store programs.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Follows health, safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes products through proper buying procedures.
• Monitors open PO reports for purchases and credits in an accurate and timely manner.
• Requests and ensures proper signage.
• Controls spoilage/shrink; achieves turn goals; participates in inventory.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Ensures orders for product are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
• Maintains positive working relationship with vendors.
• Oversees customer special order procedure.
• Analyzes and controls product transfers, waste, and spoilage.
• Supports leadership in conducting inventories.
• Maintains financial profitability by meeting and exceeding purchasing and sales targets.
• Arrives on time and participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper stocking and merchandising.
