Job summary

Albeco Inc. is seeking a part-time Bakery Clerk at our San Rafael location. The ideal candidate is customer service driven and flexible to handle a variety of tasks from day to day.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking displays, decorating cakes, taking orders, and ensuring top-notch service while working to maintain a clean and inviting bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous bakery experience preferred.
• Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

• Keep ingredients and merchandise rotated in accordance with company policy.
• Take inventory and stock products on shelf areas.
• Wrap, package and price product accurately.
• Decorate cakes as needed.

• Bake as needed throughout the day and keep all display racks stocked.
• Greet all customers and provide exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

Albeco Inc. is looking for a Part-time Bakery Clerk at our San Rafael location The perfect candidate will be customer service driven and flexible working various tasks from day to day.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in receiving and unloading of merchandise, check products for quality, count and condition
• Keep ingredients and merchandise rotated in accordance with company policy
• Take inventory and stock products on shelf areas
• Wrap, package and price product accurately
• Decorate cakes as needed
• Answer phones and take special orders
• Bake as needed throughout the day and keep all display racks stocked
• Greet all customers and provide exceptional customer service

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous bakery experience preferred
• Ability to give exceptional customer service
• Passion for baking
• Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evening, weekends, and some holidays
• Local candidates only

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs
• Standing: Up to 8 hours per day
• Walking: Up to 8 hours per day
• Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day

Compensation:

Pay Range: $19.50-24.35/hour+ depending on industry experience
