The role involves assisting with bakery tasks, stocking shelves, answering phones, and maintaining a welcoming customer experience. This position is part-time with a union environment and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

Mollie Stone’s Marketsis looking for a Part time Bakery Clerk at our Greenbrae location. The perfect candidate will be customer service driven and flexible working various tasks from day to day.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in receiving and unloading of merchandise, check products for quality, count and condition.
• Keep ingredients and merchandise rotated in accordance with company policy.
• Take inventory and stock products on shelf areas.
• Wrap, package and price product accurately.
• Answer phones and take special orders.
• Bake as needed throughout the day and keep all display racks stocked.
• Greet all customers and provide exceptional customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous bakery experience preferred.
• Ability to give exceptional customer service.
• Passion for baking.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evening, weekends, and some holidays.
• Local candidates only.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
• Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
• Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $20-29.98/hour+ depending on industry experience
