Albeco Inc. is seeking a Part-time Bakery Clerk at our San Anselmo location. The ideal candidate will be customer-service driven and flexible to handle various bakery tasks throughout the day.

You will assist with receiving, stocking, decorating, baking, and greeting customers while upholding quality standards. This union role offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, pension, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous bakery experience preferred.
• Ability to give exceptional customer service.
• Passion for baking.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and unloading of merchandise, check products for quality, count and condition.
• Keep ingredients and merchandise rotated in accordance with company policy.
• Take inventory and stock products on shelf areas.
• Wrap, package and price product accurately.
• Answer phones and take special orders.
• Decorate cakes as needed.
• Bake as needed throughout the day and keep all display racks stocked.
• Greet all customers and provide exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions

• Assist in receiving and unloading of merchandise, check products for quality, count and condition
• Keep ingredients and merchandise rotated in accordance with company policy
• Take inventory and stock products on shelf areas
• Wrap, package and price product accurately
• Answer phones and take special orders
• Decorate cakes as needed
• Bake as needed throughout the day and keep all display racks stocked
• Greet all customers and provide exceptional customer service

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous bakery experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs
• Standing: Up to 8 hours per day
• Walking: Up to 8 hours per day
• Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day

Compensation: Pay Range: $19.50-24.35/hour+ depending on industry experience
