Job summary

Paycom - ATS Bakery department is seeking a reliable team member to provide friendly customer service, keep shelves stocked and neat, and assist with preparing, packaging, and stocking bakery items such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.

You will tag products accurately, monitor freshness, and follow sanitation and company policies while helping customers with inquiries and special orders as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills to provide adequate customer service.
• Must have dexterity in hands to wrap and package products.
• Must be able to read and write to properly tag and price the products.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds as needed.
• Must be able to stand upright for most of your scheduled work shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves.
• Control freshness by coding all products and pulling out-of-code merchandise daily.
• Help prepare, package, and display baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Ensure proper tagging of all products is accurate and legible.
• Maintain the regular cleaning and sanitation program as established by company policies.
• Maintain good customer relations by providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Greet all customers and be observant to your surroundings.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
