Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Flemington, NJ is seeking a part-time Bakery Clerk who proofs, bakes, and displays bakery goods, following production charts and safety standards. You will also package items, rotate stock, receive shipments, and keep the bakery area clean.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods using ovens and production charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods, including cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and shelf-life policies.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in the bakery.
