Job Summary

Prepare and bake bakery goods following safety and quality standards. Unpack, display, and maintain bakery products according to production charts and safety policies. Ensure cleanliness and safety within the bakery department.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with bakery product questions and special orders
• Proof, bake, package, and display bakery items
• Rotate and store bakery products following safety and freshness protocols
• Receive and inspect bakery shipments
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and are accurately labeled and priced
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area
• Operate bakery equipment safely
• Support other departments as needed
• Maintain regular attendance

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or customer service preferred
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old

Work Environment

• Indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers
• Frequent movement, lifting up to 30 pounds, and occasional heavier lifting with assistance
• Exposure to cleaning agents

Compensation

The starting pay range is from $16.25, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
