Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Team Member to proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, unpack shipments, and assist with display and safety standards. You will support club policies and uphold Gold Club standards while delivering friendly service to members.

This role requires teamwork, safe food handling, and the ability to move goods from freezer to case, using ovens and equipment, while keeping signage and shelves properly stocked.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or customer service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Answers member calls and takes special orders.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following product handling information.
• Rotates and stores bakery products per safety and freshness guidelines.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in the bakery area.
