Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Bakery team member in a fast-paced store environment. You will assist customers, recommend bakery items, and help maintain fresh, high-quality products throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include baking, packaging, decorating, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in the bakery area. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and excellent member service.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items; handles member calls and special orders.
• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information and charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods and displays them; rotates and stores bakery products.
• Decorates special orders or case products to spec.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of bakery equipment and surfaces.
