Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Concord, North Carolina, is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to prepare, bake, package, and merchandise all bakery goods while delivering outstanding customer service.

You’ll maintain a clean, safe bakery area, assist the Bakery Manager with pricing and rotation of products, handle special orders, and ensure accurate labeling. Flexible scheduling, strong teamwork, and adherence to safety rules are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years Bakery experience.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork; able to take direction.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain clean, sanitary bakery area and equipment.
• Able to stand for up to 3 hours; lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Follow safety and Weights and Measures regulations and obtain Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are presented nicely
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment; clean shelves and floors
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy
