Job summary

Cosentino's Price Chopper is seeking a part-time Bakery Clerk for the Mids/Evenings shift at 900 W Foxwood Dr, Raymore, MO. You will assist customers, fill bakery orders, and help maintain display cases and product freshness.

The role reports to the Bakery Manager and is non-exempt. A food handling permit is required within 14 days, with a high school diploma preferred, plus ongoing COS Learning Plan training.

Qualifications

• Food handling permit within first 14 days of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ongoing training per Cosentino’s Learning Plan.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by filling bakery orders at the counter.
• Know department products, procedures and policies to answer questions.
• Merchandise products creatively and keep display cases clean and full.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards for team and individual results.
• Follow rotation to prevent stale product and ensure freshness.
• Handle next day’s product prep and address special orders.
• Keep bakery stocked, clean, and ready for the next shift.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area for customers and coworkers.
• Follow health regulations and safety procedures for the department and store.
• Operate, clean, and maintain equipment safely and competently.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
• Demonstrate basic math and reading skills.
