Job summary

Cosentino's Price Chopper in Raymore, MO is seeking a Day Clerk with open availability for part-time shifts. The role focuses on assisting customers, stocking shelves, and maintaining clean, organized back rooms and displays.

You will follow Cosentino customer service standards, support inventory, and ensure accuracy in pricing and labeling. The position reports to the Store Director, requires good verbal/interpersonal skills, basic math/reading abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know and implement the Cosentino Customer Service Standards.
• Unload and sort incoming shipments and stock items.
• Keep back room and cooler/freezer areas neat and ready for deliveries.
• Stock grocery shelves by UPC codes and face-front display method.
• Assist with inventory by counting and recording merchandise.
• Change shelf tags and price markers as needed.
• Monitor damaged, un-saleable, or returnable items and process claims.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and competently.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Monitor expiration dates and rotate ad items.
• Maintain clean and safe work area for customers and coworkers.
• Comply with health regulations, sanitation guidelines and safety procedures.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal skills for customer and peer interactions.
• Demonstrate basic math and reading skills for the position.
• Know department items, procedures and policies to answer customer questions.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and involve management when needed.
