Job summary

Fiesta Mart Store Operations Team is seeking a Bakery Clerk for Store 213 Lancaster, CA. You will assist customers with bakery purchases, keep displays clean, and help with special orders under supervision from the Bakery Manager.

We value friendly, reliable team members who can lift up to 60 pounds, communicate in English and Spanish, and provide cheerful service in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with bakery purchases and inquiries.
• Maintain clean shelving and display cases in the bakery area.
• Support the Bakery Manager with special orders and daily tasks.
• Help with department cleaning and stocking.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers and teammates.
