Bakery Clerk (Food Services)

If you enjoy baked goods in a gourmet store environment, you will love our Bakery Clerk position! We have an immediate need for a PT Bakery Clerk in our Smithtown store.

Our Bakery Clerks create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Bakery Clerks should be friendly, greet and be courteous to customers, and work with management and other associates to provide a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
2. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with NYS Standards and QA standards.
3. Keep floors clean and free of debris and spills.
4. Greet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance.
5. Maintain and properly use all department equipment as required.
6. Rotate product to ensure freshness.
7. Ensure accurate signage for the department.
8. Prepare trays to the company's and customers' satisfaction.
9. Perform all duties in accordance with Local, State, and Federal regulations related to Bakery operations.
10. Follow company rules, policies, safety requirements, and security standards, including all health and civil code regulations.
11. Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
