Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, presented, and the area remains clean.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery environment, including cleaning shelves, floors, and equipment.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure accurate pricing, monitor product rotation, and discard outdated items.
• Inspect and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and good communication skills.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team, and answer phones.
• Perform general housekeeping and operate bakery equipment safely.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, lift trays up to 5 lbs., and transfer items up to 40 lbs. as needed.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations, including obtaining a Food Handlers permit.
