Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented, while maintaining cleanliness of the bakery area.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery environment, including cleaning shelves, products, floors, and equipment.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure accurate pricing, monitor product rotation, and discard outdated or spoiled items.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and good communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and work well in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and handle special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and accurately.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, lift and transfer items up to 40 lbs., and comply with safety and health regulations.
