Job summary

Carlo’s Bakery Timesquare in New York is hiring a Porter/Bakery Cleaner to maintain cleanliness across front and back of house and support smooth bakery operations.

You must follow health and safety policies, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds with a flexible work schedule. Compensation is minimum wage, and employees enjoy discounts on our baked goods. This is a full-time role offering hands-on experience in a landmark brand.

Responsibilities

• Keep front of house and back of house area is safe and clean
• Clean pots and pans to ensure readiness for bakers/cake decorators to use
• Wash and disinfect appliances, display case, work surfaces, floors, walls
• Mop and take out trash
• Ensure cleaning schedule is completed
• Replenish cleaning materials, soap, paper towels and toilet paper
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
